yeah i knew all that, but i still think both of those are cool, specially robo's one. As if that wasn't enough, the developers added a badly designed bonus dungeon that tries to retcon some story elements so that they'd make more sense, but ultimately they just make the story less credible. I suppose it tries to make room for the Chrono Cross sequel, but CC doesn't do much to explore what happened in the FMV or what the consequences were. The game was developed by Square (now Square Enix) so you know that the game is a high quality experience. Chrono Trigger is a role playing game that was originally developed for the Super Nintendo in 1995. It ruins the original SNES ending by adding a Deus Ex Machina twist where the main characters are killed for no reason other than shock value. Varied landscapes to explore Multiple endings. It's actually good that the second FMV is missing, as it's a giant middle finger to the player.

is there a logical reason for these to be cut from the game or square is just dumb? also, is there a mod or something to add them back in?

Chrono Trigger’s surprise February launch turned out to be little more than a PC port of its mobile version.

You can watch it on YouTube if you want: It's slightly disturbing and shows rats eating the "corpse" of a rotting machine. The first FMV is 23 seconds and doesn't bring anything to the story.
